2024 Fall Friends of the Camps Day
The annual Friends of the Camps event was held at Camp Summers & Manget on November 2, 2024. It was a wonderful morning filled with great food and even better fellowship. Thanks to the generosity of camp supporters, the auction raised $4,016, and the Boston Butt fundraiser raised an additional $2,485. These funds play a vital role in making the ministries of Camp Summers & Manget and Camp Three Forks Trail possible.
This year, the prestigious Maple Street Vision Award was awarded to Mr. Jim Woods. Jim served as the chair of the Board of Trustees of Camp Properties for many years until his health would no longer allow him to continue. He was a devoted supporter and leader who made significant contributions to the camps. Sadly, Brother Jim Woods went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2024, but he will forever be remembered for his dedication and love for our camps.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended and supported this event. Your generosity and dedication ensure that the mission of Camp Summers & Manget and Camp Three Forks Trail will continue for many years to come.
